TERMS & CONDITIONS
Using Racing Drives.
Draft for review. These terms are not yet the final user agreement. Registered office details, applicable law and payment terms are being confirmed.
Version: 2026-09-09-draft
1. Who we are and what we provide
Racing Drives is a marketplace for drivers and teams to discover opportunities and connect. The platform is operated by Racing Drives Ltd, registered in United Kingdom. We provide access to marketplace features according to your membership. Unless expressly agreed in writing, we are not a party to any racing, employment, sponsorship, seat-hire or other agreement between users, and we do not act as either party’s agent, insurer or guarantor.
2. Accounts and accurate information
You must provide accurate information, keep it up to date and protect your login details. If you represent a team or another organisation, you must have authority to act for it. Do not impersonate another person, misrepresent qualifications, advertise seats you cannot offer, or use the platform for fraud, harassment, spam or unlawful activity.
3. Listings, profiles and introductions
Users are responsible for the information and materials they submit and for having permission to share them. A review or verification label describes platform checks only; it is not a guarantee of identity, financial standing, ability, eligibility, vehicle condition, safety, availability or contractual performance. Access to a profile, listing or introduction does not guarantee a race seat, a suitable driver, a reply or a completed agreement.
Drivers must keep their FIA categorisation, racing experience, availability and budget or funding information accurate and current. Unless a specific check is expressly described, this information is supplied by users and is not independently verified by Racing Drives. Teams must independently check eligibility and evidence of funding before agreeing a seat.
4. Checks before entering an agreement
Drivers and teams must carry out their own checks and obtain appropriate professional advice. Agree the scope of the programme, fees, deposits, payment dates, cancellation and refund rules, licences, eligibility, equipment, damage responsibility and insurance in a written contract before committing. Confirm who bears accident costs, deductibles and liabilities and what insurance actually covers. Racing Drives does not certify the safety of a car, team, circuit or event.
5. Agreements and disputes between users
Agreements made following an introduction are between the relevant parties. Those parties are responsible for performing their obligations and resolving disputes. Subject to section 7, Racing Drives is not responsible for the acts or omissions of drivers, teams or other third parties, or disputes arising from their arrangements, including financial disagreements, non-payment, deposits, refunds, contract cancellations, failure to provide a seat or driver, damage to race cars or equipment, or physical injury or death arising from participation in motorsport.
You may report suspected misuse of Racing Drives to us. We may investigate platform conduct and restrict offending accounts, but we do not undertake to determine contractual liability, recover money, provide compensation or resolve a dispute between users.
6. Motorsport risks
Motorsport involves significant risks, including serious injury, death and property damage. Drivers and teams are responsible for their participation decisions, compliance with applicable rules, licences, safety requirements and appropriate insurance. Using this marketplace does not replace event-specific safety requirements or professional advice.
7. Limits on our responsibility
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Racing Drives does not accept liability for losses caused by arrangements between users or third-party conduct merely because the parties connected through the platform. This does not exclude liability for Racing Drives’ own acts or omissions where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted. Nothing removes mandatory consumer rights. These terms do not require you to waive claims that applicable law protects.
8. Membership and payment
Free and paid memberships provide different platform access. Membership fees, where charged, pay for platform access, not a race seat, a driver or a guaranteed outcome. The price, billing period, renewal arrangements, cancellation process and applicable refund or withdrawal rights must be disclosed before any purchase. Complimentary founding access lasts for the period specified in the invitation; it does not imply a permanent price or automatic paid renewal. Paid checkout is not currently available.
9. Privacy and communication
Do not scrape the marketplace, bypass access restrictions or redistribute another user’s private information. Use in-platform communication for first contact. Share personal information only where you have authority and a lawful reason to do so. A separate privacy notice will describe how Racing Drives handles personal data; these terms are not consent to marketing.
Information obtained through Racing Drives may be used only for the relevant recruitment or race-seat discussion. Do not disclose a driver’s confidential interest, identity or budget outside the authorised discussion without permission. Do not resell member data, add users to marketing lists without a lawful basis, or use collected data to populate another service.
10. Content and platform access
You retain ownership of your content and permit us to host and display it as needed to provide the service, subject to your publication settings and platform access rules. We may remove unlawful or misleading material and suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect users, investigate misuse or comply with law. Where appropriate, we will explain the action and provide a way to raise a concern. Any paid-service rights remain subject to applicable law.
11. Changes and applicable law
Material changes to the final terms will be notified with their effective date. Changes will not retrospectively alter an agreement between a driver and a team. The governing law and dispute forum will be confirmed with the operating entity before these terms are finalised.
12. Contact
